A safe way to search the Internet for help with projects and other types of research. Nettrekker gives access resources organized by readability levels and aligned to standards.  The free search engine is organized according to school level (elementary, middle and high) and is safe, fast and easy to use for children and adults.  Click on “register.” Follow the prompts to create an individual username and password.

 

Kids Galileo (click on "Galileo Kids" in the lower right side of the screen) provides access to Encyclopedia Britannica, magazine and newspaper  articles, images, and other Internet resources selected especially for elementary and middle school students. A password is needed and is available in the media center.
