Next meeting will be April 17th for 4th grade and April 24th for 5th grade.
Locust Grove Elementary has a 4th Grade and a 5th Grade Garden Club.  The students meet once a month.  Fourth Grade meets on the last Monday of the month and Fifth Grade meets on the last Tuesday of each month.  LGE students work at learning to maintain the courtyard, plant new plants, start plants from seeds, transplant seedlings, and get to take home a new plant each month.   

These students keep a gardening notebook that will be judged at the end of the year by the Locust Grove Women's Club and receive prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
 
Ms. Kathy is teaching us a lot about how to garden, plants, and being good gardeners.
