I'm Joyce Thompson, the school counselor at Hampton Elementary.  I have been in education for 29 years. I was an elementary classroom teacher for 7 years.  I have been a school counselor for 22 years.  I have been at HES for 11 wonderful years.  I have a Master's and Specialist degree from West Georgia College.   I have been married for 39 years and have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.  I enjoy gardening, reading and walking.  My continued goal this year is to help  ensure success for every child at Hampton.  Please contact me if you need assistance this school year.  (thompsonj@henry.k12.ga.us)
