Standards-Based Curriculum and Report Cards

A standards-based classroom is a classroom where teachers and students have a clear understanding of the expectations (standards).  They know what they are teaching/learning each day, why the day's learning is an important thing to know.  They also know they are working toward meeting standards throughout the year, and, that standards-based learning is a process, not an event.

Click on the links to the left to view information, including standards-based report cards, for each grade level.  Be advised, for the school year 2012-2013, all grades are on a standards-based curriculum. Kindergarten through 4th grades are also using standards-based assessment. Fifth grade continues using a traditional report card format.
