The English Department currently offers CCGPS based
English I (9th grade Literature Survey & Composition)
English II (10th grade American/World Literature Survey & Composition)
English III (11th grade American Literature Survey & Composition)
English IV (12th grade British Literature Survey & Composition).
Honors sections are offered for all levels except the senior level.
Juniors may also take AP Language and Composition.
Seniors may also take AP Literature and Composition.
The Woodland HighSchool English department curriculum is governed by the Common Core Georgia Performance Standards (CCGPS) that can be found on the Georgia Department of Education Website under CCGPS.
Please contact your child's teacher as necessary throughout the school year.
