Parent Involvement Paraprofessional: Kimberly Miller
What is Parental Involvement?
The purpose of parental involvement under Title I is to promote active engagement between school administrators, teachers, and parents. The parent involvement coordinator and paraprofessional's goal is to empower parents by providing them with the proper tools such as, workshops, various resources, and a lot of encouragement which in turn will improve student achievement and learning.
We understand the importance of School-Family Partnerships at Mt. Carmel.
We believe that when schools and families work together to support learning, everyone benefits!
üStudents do better in school and life.
üParents become empowered.
üSchools get better.
üCommunities grow stronger.
