HCMS has developed a unique way to encourage the personal growth of our students.

It's called Club Day.

 

 

 

Each semester, HCMS will have 3 in-school Club Days that will meet on the 3rd Friday of the month.

All staff and faculty are asked to sponsor a club using their own personal interests as a starting place.

Students are asked to pick 5 clubs, in order of their preference, for each semester.

The Counseling Office makes all placements based on space while using the students' choices as a guideline.

 

On Club Day, all students transition into their assigned club for the last period of the day.

 While in clubs, students are exposed to new ideas, learn new life skills, develop social and leadership skills, and just have fun.

 

 The best part about Club Day is that the whole school joins together to learn and share.

It's a positive energy that is transforming Henry County Middle School.
