Thank you for visiting the web page for Woodland Middle School.

Experience: The 2015-16 school year will be my 28th year in education, and my second year here at Woodland Middle School.  After earning my Leadership degree from GSU, I became an assistant principal at an elementary school in Rockdale County. In 2005, I became the assistant principal at McDonough Elementary school, and two years later, I became the principal. This year will be my seventh year as a principal, and I must say that each step in my career has been extremely rewarding and I continue to look forward to each new year.

I earned my Bachelor's in education at University of Georgia, my Master's in education at Georgia State University, and my Specialist degree from Piedmont University.  I taught math and science at the middle school level for the first 12 years of my career.

Family: My husband and I have four children ranging in age from 19 to 25 years old.  Currently, three of our children are attending college and will hopefully find a career as rewarding as mine.
