
The No Place for Hate assembly was held on Thursday, May 17th to recognize ARMS for its efforts in creating a community of respect.
The sports banquet was recently held to recognize more than 200 athletes who participated in football, basketball, track, volleyball, cheerleading, wrestling and step team.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Blacks In Government Chapter of Atlanta Georgia recognized Ms.Carter at its annual "Black Women Rock" ceremony on Saturaday, May 5th. She is one of the 50 recipients that received recognition for outstanding acheivement. Principal Cheryl Carter is the Henry County NAACP 2012 Educator of the Year.
