Purpose:  To promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Science education and opportunities to develop presentation skills and leadership.  By focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner and community leader, members develop skills for life through character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and vocation preparation.
 
Plans:  Chapter meetings monthly;
CTSO meetings monthly,
Fall Rally at Georgia National Fair, Oct.2012;
STAR Events Competitions;
Community Service Projects such as Christmas Store, Adopt a Family, volunteers to help East Lake Elementary with Fall Festival and Talent Show,
Teens for Jeans;
Teens in the drivers seat
State Leadership Meeting in March ;
FCCLA Banquet in May;
FCCLA National Leadership Meeting in Nashville in July of 2013.
 
Opportunity for community service: 
Participate on the schools Relay for Life Team
Walk will be April 26th, 2013 at Ola High School
