Reading Workshop Has Begun!
 
Our class has a block of our day that is devoted entirely to reading.  During that time we are reading independently, partner reading, or reading with the teacher.  We have chosen 'just right books' for our book boxes and have begun writing in our 'Reader Response Journals' about some of our favorite books.  We are also working on building stamina as readers and reviewing strategies for solving unfamiliar words.
 
It is fun getting to know my readers!
