There will be a parent/cheerleader informational meeting Monday, March 9, at 6:30 in the LGHS commons. If you are interested in trying out for football and/or competition cheerleading teams, please try to attend the meeting. Tryout dates will be March 23-27 from 4-6 each afternoon. You must have a physical in order to tryout. Be on the lookout for a tryout packet coming soon! If you need additional information, please visit the LGHS Cheerleading website!

We are pleased to announce that State School Superintendent Richard Woods has recognized Locust Grove High School for achievements in their Advanced Placement (AP) programs and test results. LGHS has been named an AP STEM School and an AP Stem Achievement School by the College Board. Read more...
The Diversity Club is asking students to celebrate Black History Month through art. Students should create a printed piece of art work--photos, drawings, paintings, collages, etc.—and bring it to the counseling office this month. Also tweet or Instagram your art with the hashtag #thedreamliveson.
