Hi! I have been teaching for 18 years and 15 of those have been in Kindergarten. Kindergarten is the most exciting year to teach because you can see the most growth in that year. We will be learning so much this year. Alphabet letters, upper and lower case, letter sounds, sight words, learning to sound blend to read words, numbers to 30 and sets, color words, number words,rhyming words, short poems, writing sentences, short stories, and so much more.

I attended West GA College and Clayton Jr. College. I have my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from West GA College.

I am married and my husband is a teacher at Woodland High School. We have a chihuahua named Christy Lou. We love to travel and Christy Lou travels with us. This past summer we traveled to California, Oregon, and Washington. I got to see the Redwood trees and Sequoia's. It was wonderful. I have some really great pictures to share with the children during our tree unit.
