Hello and thank you for visiting my page. I am very happy to be teaching US History and Economics at Luella High School. Please check this page for announcements, assignments, and notes.
Here is a little information about me.
I am from Boston, MA and served proudly in the US Navy for 14 years as a Hospital Corpsman. I was stationed at Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, VA while on active duty and in the US Navy Reseves, I served with 4th Marine Division as a Combat (HM FMF) Medic at Naval Air Station- Atlanta. As a Veteran of this Great Nation, I feel that it is every American's responsibility to know about the history of this Great Country.
I received my BA degree in History and Political Science from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia while on active military duty. I also have a BS degree in Cardiopulmonary Science with a concentration in Respiratory Therapy from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. I have a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA.
I have taught public school for 9 years, and was a General Instructor in the US Navy. This is my 5th year at Luella High School.
I am also proud to be the Director of Football Operations for the ONLY 6 A (AAAAAA) football program in Henry County! With this position, I will be serving as the "face of the program," recruiting coordinator, trainer for the Football/Soccer Lions as well as the Asst Special Teams Coordinator and the Head Coach for our JV Lions Football Team.
I am also very happy to be part of the Luella Soccer Staff-- I will serve as the Trainer and Assistant Coach for our Varisty Lions! I love the world's most popular sport and can't wait for another great season of Lions Soccer.
