Headlines

Students, Faculty, and Parents enjoyed a friendly game of basketball between the LHS' Boys Varsity Basketball players and a team of faculty has-beens.  The Teachers, despite their advanced age and creaking joints, beat the Varsity Boys.

The Animal Science classes were treated to a viewing of various reptiles from the Fortson 4-H Camp.  Students were given information on each species and were also given the opportunity to hold the animals.

Luella Advanced Theatre students attended the Georgia Thespian Conference at Columbus State University in Columbus, GA.  The students attended workshops where they learned African dance, yoga, basic stitching for costume sewing, improvisation, etc.  Students also attended one-act-play performances by various theatre troupes from around Georgia as well as the All State Thespian performance of Tim Rice and Elton John's Aida.
