Welcome to the ART room!

This is year is already off to a great start. We are still meeting every other week, so it may take awhile for you to see some projects coming come, but they are going be great!
Don't forget, it is a great idea to wear your old clothes on art day; we wouldn't want any stains on our nice clothing. Look at the Schedule link to the left to see your scheduled art day.

One Man's Junk is another Man's Treasure:

If you have any of the following items around the house, that you no longer want to keep or don't know what to do with, we would love to have them in the art room.
  • Elementary age appropriate art books
  • Old Button-up Shirts (Adult size for smocks)
  • Yarn
  • Buttons
  • Wallpaper Rolls
  • Wallpaper Books
  • Fabrics or Fabric Swatches (The more colorful the better)
  • Twine or Rope
  • Nails (Non-galvanized)
  • Wire (Coated or uncoated)
  • Wood Scraps (Untreated and the smaller the better)

"There is no substitute for drawing a portrait or a still life, composing a song or a sonnet, choreographing and performing a dance. Education early in life ought to provide such opportunities to think and perform in an artistic medium." Howard Gardner
