Mathletes

Red Oak Elementary participated in a state wide Math competition this past Saturday called MathFest 2010. The objectives assessed with the competition are based on expectations listed for the CRCT. Students from all over the state came to compete in this competition. I’m proudly to announce that Red Oak Elementary had four students to receive medals and one student that earned the State Champion Title for second grade. She represents the state of Georgia for the second graders. She competed against students from North Carolina, Virginia, and Alabama for the regional title and placed as the runner up.
