I have been teaching for 16 years, the last 12 in Henry County.  I have a B.B.A. from Georgia Southern in Marketing and a M.A. in History from Armstrong Atlantic State University.  I have been teaching Social Studies here at Union Grove since 2002.  I have taught Advanced Placement courses for the last seven years and have served as an AP World History reader for the national exam for the last three years. 
 
I have also taken Henry County students and their parents around the world during the last eight summer breaks.   I am going to Japan in the summer of 2009 and in the past I have gone to Australia, Costa Rica, Germany, France, Great Britain, Spain,Italy, Greece, Hungary, Austria, the Czech Republic and Turkey.
