ABOUT ME: I am a Henry County native. I have a Bachelor's degree in Math Education from the University of Georgia and a Master's in Educational Administration from Tennessee State University. This is my 11th year as a high school educator.

DISCRETE MATH: Discrete Math finished the unit on Election Theory (Chapter 1) with a cumulative test on Friday 8/21. We finished the unit on Fair Division (Chapter 2) with a cumulative test on 9/11. We completed a unit on Matrices (Chapter 3) with a cumulative test on 10/1. We completed Graphs and Circuits (Chapter 4) with a project involving the game Ricochet Robot. We finished up Graphs and Trees (Chapter 5) with a cumulative test on 11/20. After Thanksgiving break we'll be working on Logic, Set Theory, and Truth Tables.

STUDY SKILLS III/GHSGT MATH: The goal in this class is to enrich students' skills and prepare them for the math portion of the GA High School Graduation Test. We have worked on skills from Strand 1: Applying Concepts of Numeration and Computation to Daily Life, Strand 3: Geometry, and Strand 4: Algebra skills.

ALGEBRA II: Algebra II completed Equations with a cumulative test on Friday 8/21. We finished up Inequalities with a quiz on 9/11. We completed Relations and Functions with a cumulative test on 10/1. We finished up Systems of Equations in 2 and 3 variables with a cumulative test on 10/27. We completed Quadratic Equations with a cumulative test on 11/19.

ALGEBRA III: Algebra III completed a unit on Equations and Inequalities with a cumulative test on Friday 8/21. We finished Statistics with a Test on 9/11. We completed Relations and Functions with a cumulative test on 9/29 and Transformations with a cumulative test on 10/14. We completed Rational Expressions and Complex Fractions with a cumulative test on 11/4. We finished up the basics of Radicals with a cumulative test on 11/20. We will continue with Radicals after Thanksgiving break.
